Follow the link in Resources to the Acta Express website. Click on the option for "Birth Certificate."
Complete the form fields on the application for birth-certificate retrieval. You will need to enter the individual's name, birthdate, the state the individual was born in, and the state in which the individual's birth was registered. Other information can also be entered, such as the city of birth and parents' names. Although the other information is helpful, it is not mandatory.
Click "Next." Enter the information indicating who is actually requesting the birth certificate (like an agency name or a person's name.) You will have to indicate the relationship of this person to the individual named on the birth certificate, as well as her telephone number and email address. Click "Next."
amount of certified copies you would like to receive. Select a shipping option. Some of the shipping choices will result in additional fees. Enter the address to which you would like the birth certificate(s) to be shipped. Click "Submit."
Check your email for confirmation of your order along with a PayPal link for payment. If you do not have a PayPal account set up, you can do so by following the link in Resources. A valid credit card, debit card or checking account is required. If you do not wish to set up a PayPal account, you can opt to mail a check or money order to the address stated in your email.
Wait for your certified birth certificate copies to arrive. You should receive them within three to 15 business days, depending upon the shipping method selected.
