This position provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems for Our Leadership Stage client ( multinational software company ). This position is designed to ensure the continuous delivery and operation of business critical systems in a decentralized, SaaS-based environment. The Director is responsible for the the supervision & execution of significant IT & system projects, as well as the design and implementation of processes and systems with technical team members who operate multiple information and communications systems, including email, networks, SaaS based applications and IT security. The Director reports to the VP Finance and supervises the IT staff in the areas of employee support, business systems, and next generation planning.

Opportunity to Make an Impact:

The Director serves and participates proactively with other members of the senior management team in developing and executing strategic plans to optimize the use of information technology in support of business objectives. These include but are not limited to:

  • Accounting & Finance – including NetSuite and ancillary systems
  • Human Resources and Payroll – including UltiPro HRIS
  • Sales & Marketing – Including Salesforce and ancillary systems
  • Engineering Services

The Director also participates in policy and decision making regarding resource allocation and future direction and control of proposed information systems.

  • Develops, coordinates, guides and maintains IT system strategic and operational plans in support of mission, business strategy, and growth plan.
  • Define a vision for meeting current and future information and technology needs for the company, while ensuring alignment and integration of IT with

    the overall vision, mission, and values.

  • Addresses immediate business technology needs of our client such as ensuring data integrity, business continuity and disaster recovery plan, operating system migration, mass storage, document retention policy, and security policies.
  • Communicates IT plans, policies and technology trends throughout the organization, including management groups and professional staff.
  • Provides leadership and support for IT team members, helping to develop their skills.
  • Negotiates IT service level agreements with user organizations and monitors IT systems performance to assure that service levels are being met with 3rd party business partners and vendors.
  • Develops and enforces policy and procedures to ensure the protection of business IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the business.
  • Develops and maintains system-wide business recovery plans to ensure timely and effective restoration of IT services in the event of a disaster.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, development, motivation and retention of assigned staff conforming to budgetary objectives and personnel policies.
  • Ensures appropriate training programs for the organization are in place to attract, retain and develop the key personnel required to support information services.

About You:

  • A degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive experience in information technology including management experience around budget and organizational management. Proven skills in Project Management and communication.
  • Experience managing Salesforce administration & support required. Experience managing NetSuite administration & support preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of information technologies including deep knowledge of SaaS based systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement a vision for IT in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and articulate IT directions and choices to firm’s senior management.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in managing functions and departments dealing with information handling, workflow and information technology systems.
  • 8+ years of direct management of a decentralized, rapid-growth environment is preferred. Ability to emphasize customer service and partnering with business owners throughout the organization.
  • 10+ Years of experience in technology related companies or related industries or professional services firms with 300 to 500 employees.
  • Experience with 3rd party negotiations.
