With the housing market as it is and all the horror stories regarding foreclosure even for homeowners never missing a payment, I feel it is only prudent to know who my bank may have sold my mortgage to. Additionally, I'd like to know if the ratio of my home value to the amount remaining to pay is something that could put me and my family in jeopardy. Thank you.

If you Google foreclosures and payments not missed you are sure to find many articles regarding homeowners losing their homes even though they never missed a payment. This is because they've held their mortgage for long enough that all they are paying is principle and the value of the house is no longer what it used to be. The bank gains nothing from holding the mortgage any longer. It's a scary situation and I'm surprised how many folks aren't aware of it.
