Migrated an application that was running on WS2003, MS SQL 2005, ColdFusion 7, and in a single ColdFusion Instance to WS2008R2, MS SQL 2014, ColdFusion 11 Enterprise, and multiple instances.
This project is to replace an existing projector and screen with an 80 inch TV. At the same time we upgraded the input method from VGA to HDMI.

Good morning, guys.
I need to investigate an issue with a custom-built laptop that's turning off when it's moved from a static position. If it's left in one place it will perform normally but as soon as the user attempts to move it to another location while it's still on it seems to turn itself off.
I've not yet got the laptop in front of me and so I haven't had
a chance to look for any glaringly obvious faults. However, I have already had the user attempt to move the laptop with the AC adapter plugged in and the battery disconnected and the problem persisted.
I'd like to get a list of possible causes before I begin the troubleshooting. Prior experience and research suggests that I could be looking at the following as potential reasons for the fault:
- Faulty AC Adapter
- Faulty power card
- Faulty HDD. Potentially a loose connection.
- Internal cabling loose.
The laptop had previously encountered random shutdowns due to overheating. However, I've already worked to resolve this and I'm confident that it's not an overheating issue in this instance.
Has anybody had a similar issue and, if so, could you please let me know how you approached any repair and/or whether you found a fix?
