At times it may so happen that your cell phone battery is running very low and is likely to go off at any moment, but you're expecting a very important call or need to make one. Use your laptop battery. Use the USB cord which allows you to sync your cell phone with your computer and connect the phone to the laptop. Make sure to switch off the phone first. Once connected, the cell phone battery will charge itself by drawing power from the laptop battery. Simple, isn't it?
Using USB cables. Somewhat similar to the previous step, find a spare or old USB cable which is no longer required and cut-off the point which is not used to connect to the computer (the end where you would connect a USB-compatible device). You are now going to convert this cable to act as a cell phone battery charger in conjunction with your laptop.
