The 2015 NBA draft lottery takes place Tuesday, May 19, 2015, prior to Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets.

ESPN will televise the lottery beginning at 7:30 p.m. Central. You can watch a live stream broadcast on Watch ESPN .

NBA deputy commissioner Mark Tatum will announce the lottery results live from the New York Midtown Hilton. Representatives of the 14 lottery teams will be on-hand for the announcements.

The 14 teams in contention for the top pick, in order of record, worst-to-best (2014-15 record in parantheses), with odds for getting top pick:

  1. Minnesota Timberwolves (16-66) — 25 percent
  2. New York Knicks

    (17-65) — 19.9 percent

  3. Philadelphia 76ers (18-64) — 15.6 percent
  4. Los Angeles Lakers (21-61) — 11.9 percent

  6. Sacramento Kings (29-53) — 6.3 percent
  7. Denver Nuggets (30-52) — 4.3 percent
  8. Detroit Pistons (32-50) — 2.8 percent
  9. Charlotte Hornets (33-49) — 1.7 percent
  10. Miami Heat (37-45) — 1.1 percent
  11. Indiana Pacers (38-44) — 0.8 percent
  12. Utah Jazz (38-44) — 0.7 percent
