What Alberta Registries Office do I contact to get a Certified Copy of my Original Birth Registration that I need for US citizenship purposes as well as a passport. I am a permanent resident of the US, I was born to US citizens, and my Grandparents some how had their names replaced as my parents on my Canadian Birth Certificate Legally, of course. (the computer generated one). Therefore, all I am presently able to get is the RUN AROUND.

I need a name and a fax or phone number of someone to contact about this - DO NOT give me the Registry Connect or the VItal Statisctics for Alberta PLEASE. I have all of that. They told me to contact an Alberta Registries office if I believe I have underwent a legal name change. I do know I have, my Grandparents assumed Guardianship of me early on. They are elderly and can not help me with this.

I am out of work due to illness, and I need to have to straigh answers.

Also would it be possible under these circumstances with US parents and Grandparents brigning me across to Alberta and legally having custody of me in the 1960's and being able to legally establish a Registration of Live Birth in Alberta, which would in turn, allow me a Birth Certificate.

I am not in question about Canadian citizenship at this point. I need to get my US citizenship proved, and I have some Legal

issues with my Canadian Birth Record issued in Canada by US citizen, but permanent work residents in Canada.

Please help me accomplish this as I have spent more than five years and alot of time and money I do not have trying to get this straight.

Please only answer if you have actual facts I can use, I've been misled enough. Thank you so much.

Also, how do I reply when someone has answered to a question, Do I just post an answer to my own question?

I appreciate it.

Does this mean that NO ONE IN Alberta, Canada has the Raised Stamped Sealed Original of their mother's registration of thier birth? And if they do they must have needed it for Court or Consulate, or geneology purposes, and they had to hire an attorney or pay a Registry Agent to get it? Is that what I am to believe?

So the Raised, stamped sealed certified photo copy of the original registration the mother filles out in the hospital, which they clearly offer - they describe it in detail. Everyone that orders that pays for legal counsel in Canada to get it? Alberta especially.

Having a hard time with that because in the US you go to the county you were born and you pay $10.00 and ask for the thing and they issue it to you when you prove it's our record! Unless, you are adopted or your parents names have changed.
