CPC

what is a cpc certificate

Whether you’re a Transport Manager or a Driver, we'll help you check you're CPC Compliant.

Organisations in the PCV and road haulage industries must conform to strict EU laws which state that operators must show that they are professionally competent by employing a Transport Manager who holds a Certificate of Professional Competence. RoSPA's Transport Manager CPC Course has been designed with this in mind.

Furthermore, professional bus, coach and LGV drivers are now required by law to complete 35 hours of Driver CPC over five years. RoSPA is an approved JAUPT centre (Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training), and therefore our Driver CPC courses contribute to DCPC certification.

Choose from the following CPC services:

Transport Manager CPC (Road Haulage) Course - This ten-day Transport Management CPC course provides up-to-date and relevant training for those seeking to enter the field of Transport Management, or to demonstrate the professional competence required to meet Operator's Licence requirements.

Transport Manager CPC Exams - Both external and RoSPA

course delegates can sit these Transport Manager CPC exams at RoSPA's centrally located Birmingham training centre.

Driver CPC Courses - Check which courses contribute towards the 35 hours/ 5 years of Driver CPC training that all professional bus, coach and LGV drivers are required by law to complete.

Driver CPC Consortium - If you have in-house trainers you could deliver RoSPA's JAUPT approved courses under RoSPA's Driver CPC Consortium status.

Transport Manager CPC

A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is a legal requirement for all transport managers. In fact, for applicants for an Operator's Licence (O Licence) and for transport managers, CPC is necessary proof of professional competence.

Organisations must ensure that a transport manager's CPC is valid and up-to-date. RoSPA's Transport Manager CPC (Road Haulage) course (approved by the OCR examinations board) will ensure that Transport Managers complete their duty in a safe and efficient manner, making you more employable, and satisfying the professional competence requirements for gaining an Operators Licence.
