CSP Certified Service Professional ®

This nationally recognized designation is highly sought after by those who know the value of certification to raise confidence with prospective customers and raise your industry visibility with customers and raise your industry visibility with pool and spa manufacturers, distributors and buying groups.

The exam for this certification is a three-hour, closed-book exam with 150 multiple-choice questions. You must score a 75% or better to pass.

Target Audience

Service Industry experts looking to distinguish themselves and earn the highest level of certification available.

Candidates for the CSP must have at least five years of industry experience and 24 hours of continuing education in the past three years. An optional 5-hour prep course is available both online and in-person to assist you in your exam preparation.

Candidates must submit a completed application at least 14 days in advance of their anticipated testing date. All certification exams are proctored and can be administered at an APSP-sanctioned educational event where testing is scheduled or through an authorized testing center (Please note: APSP does not maintain a list of testing centers throughout the US, we rely on local community colleges and libraries who offer their proctoring services to the general public.)
