Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification is like a stamp of approval within the human resources profession. It shows any organization considering candidates for hire that you are competent in your field, making you more attractive in the job market and creating high-level employment opportunities. Certification inevitably will have a positive impact on your salary, both in base salary and the increased possibility of promotion.
Recognized as part of an elite network in human resources, individuals who hold PHR certification have demonstrated their commitment in human resources management. According to the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), more and more job listings are including HR certification as “required” or “preferred.” Because “when employers hire certified HR professionals, they also hire peace of mind that those staff members have mastered the knowledge they need to manage the organization’s human resources and are staying current in changes to HR laws and core practices.”
survey conducted by HRCI, 48 percent of companies have reported that human resources certification has given them a competitive edge over other companies. Are you ready to give your company that advantage?
Colorado State University OnlinePlus offers a Denver-based Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certificate program for HR professionals who want a review before taking the PHR or SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) exams.
According to the HRCI, the pass rate for PHR exams from December 2011-January 2012 was just above half, sitting at 58 percent. However, every CSU OnlinePlus SHRM Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 student passed the PHR exam and has earned their PHR designation due to the excellent preparation from this certificate.
Our SHRM learning system certificate is offered during convenient weekend and evening hours, and has a 100 percent pass rate; what more could you ask for! Learn more about the program online or contact Mary Colasanti for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-376-2607.
