How can I ensure that a training provider is authorised to deliver the training?
The Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering the NSW, QLD, WA, SA, and NT RSA courses is Century Group Pty Ltd trading as ATS Arrow Training Services, Reg No: 6127. They are a nationally approved RTO and are listed on the list of approved training organisations in each State/Territory.
The RTO that delivers the online RSA course for the ACT is Master Grocers Australia Ltd. MGA delivers the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA Online) training program under approval from the Office of Regulatory Services (Approval Number RSA2011-011). They are listed on the list of approved training organisations for the ACT.
You can check whether an RTO is authorised to deliver the training by contacting your State/Territory liquor authority. There is a list of each State/Territory liquor authority (along with contact details for each) here.
You can also visit www.training.gov.au and search for an RTO using their RTO number.
How do I enrol?
You have two options to enrol.
First option: You can continue to enrol directly after the payment process by clicking the Start Now option on the page. You will be taken to the Student registration page, where you will need to click on the Begin Registration button. You will then have to input all of your information in the 6 step registration process.
Second option: If you would like to register your account and enrol at a later time, you will receive a confirmation email which contains your enrolment code. If you cannot find this email, check your spam or junk email folder. If you click on the enrolment code in that email, you will be taken to the Student registration page, where you will need to enter the username and password you selected in the 6 step registration process.
Is it possible to fail the course?
If you are completing your QLD, WA, SA, or NT RSA training, you will have 3 attempts per question on each Quiz. You do NOT have to pay anything in order to reattempt questions .
If you exceed your allotted 3 attempts on a question you will be locked out of your course. This lockout system is implemented to ensure that students who are having difficulty answering questions or understanding the course materials get assistance. To have your account unlocked, please submit a help ticket with a request to have your account unlocked. Please note that your request can only be processed Monday - Friday between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM. If necessary your details can then be referred to a trainer who can give you assistance in understanding what the question is asking you. Please note that it may take up to 2 business days for a trainer to contact you about your course. There is NO additional fee charged for this service .
When answering questions, please ensure that you put in the correct number of responses; if the question is asking you for 3 responses, you must submit at least 3 responses or your answer will be marked as being incorrect by the marking team.
If you find you cannot complete the course due to having difficulty understanding the materials, we can provide a full refund of your course fees and unenrol you from your course. Please note that if you elect to take this action, you must notify us before you complete your training. If you complete your training, we will be unable to offer you a refund. Please refer to our refund policy for further information.
Can under 18s do the training?
Yes. Anyone can do their RSA online, but this does not mean that you will be able to serve liquor if you are under the age of 18. Please contact your State/Territory to find out more about serving requirements. There is a list of each State/Territory liquor authority (along with contact details for each) here.
Do I need to be in Australia to complete the course?
No. You can complete the training online for QLD, SA, NT, WA and ACT and have your RSA Certificates in hand when you arrive in Australia.
