PaydayLoans-Seattle.com may also be doing business as www.1-hour-cash-advance.com
The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) is warning consumers to verify lenders’ licenses prior to doing business with them.
www.paydayloans-seattle.com and www.1-hour-cash-advance.com are related websites that claim to provide short-term loans or cash advances (payday loans) to consumers via the Internet. These entities are not licensed by DFI, or registered to do business in Washington by either the Department of Revenue or the Washington Secretary of State. The physical addresses and contact information for these entities could not be verified and they did not reply to the DFI's inquiries.
These entities may be in the practice of engaging in unlicensed lending activity and collecting consumers’ personal and financial information and sharing it with non-affiliated third parties. Consumers’ bank accounts may be debited with no guarantee that these lenders will transfer funds as agreed.
DFI strongly recommends that consumers deal only with those lenders that are properly licensed to conduct business. Consumers can determine whether lenders are properly licensed using the “Verify a License” feature on the DFI’s website at www.dfi.wa.gov.
If You Feel You're A Victim
Victims of these entities should report their experiences to the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.
