Things You'll Need

Instructions

Complete an online application. Choose a lender and complete the short, online application located on the website. In most cases, the application will simply request that you fill in personal information including your name, address, contact information, employment information and a few references.

Confirm your identity. In a no-fax online payday loan, you are not required to fax in supporting documents; however, you will be asked to e-mail them or upload them into the application process. You will usually be required to submit a copy of your driver’s license, paycheck stubs for the last 30 days and possibly a copy of your bank statement.

Participate in the confirmation phone call. Most online payday lenders will call you to confirm that you did, in fact, request the loan, that the information you provided is correct and verify the amount and terms of your loan. This is the point where you should confirm with the lender which service, whether it be Western Union or Moneygram, that they use to wire your funds to

you.

Locate the closest money transfer location in your area. In many cases, you can send and receive money via money transfer service in the customer service area of your local grocery store or other large retail establishment, such as a Wal-Mart. Make sure that you know which store uses which service.

Complete the receiver form. In order to get your money, you will need to arrive at the money transfer location in the specified amount of time and complete a form with the information provided to you by the payday lender. You will also need to provide positive identification.

Make arrangements for repayment. If you don’t have a bank account for the lender to make withdrawals from for repayment purposes, you will need to make sure that you understand the preferred method of repayment from your lender. This may be via the same money transfer service you used to receive your money. Make sure that you have all the information you need in order to make your payment on time to prevent additional charges.
