Building the best
Since day one, we’ve worked hard to build the best tax software in Canada. Three years and 3,832 cups of coffee later, we’re making a difference, one tax return at a time.
There’s so much more we want to do. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’ve joined the TaxAct family! The team at TaxAct is one of the best in the industry. We couldn’t be happier to be working with a group of people who share our values and our drive to build something better.
So, what does this mean? We’ll still be the SimpleTax you know and love, but with the ability to do more. Expect to see a few new faces as we grow our team in Vancouver, but otherwise we’re staying true to our values. We expect you to hold us to that.
We also want to say thank you. Your support continues to inspire us and push us forward. We couldn’t have done this without you and we know you’ll love what’s next.
Your friends at SimpleTax,
Jonathan, Allison, and Justin
p.s. Have a question? As always, we’re only an email away .
Thank you, Canada
Thank you for another great tax season, Canada.
Whether you supported us
by sending a payment, handwritten note, or pie, thank you. Now, with May two-four behind us, it’s time to get down to business. Yes, we’ll be back! In fact, we’re already hard at work on next year’s product. It’s going to be our best yet.
p.s. We’re not going anywhere! If you’re self-employed, you still have until June 15th to file. Otherwise, if you haven’t yet filed your 2014 tax return, it isn’t too late .
Less than a week to go
Another spellbinding tax season is coming to a close. April 30th May 5th 1 is almost here, so this is the weekend to get your taxes done and submitted on time.
Don’t spend your weekend worrying about your tax return, or standing in line to pay for someone else to do it for you. Instead, file your own return in your pjs, pay what you want, and actually enjoy your weekend.
just did my taxes in my pjs, sitting on my bed, with a coffee in hand for the second year thanks to @simpletax. less than 10 minutes too !

Got quoted $456 to get my taxes done at H&R Block. Just did them myself on Simple Tax for FREE. #taxesdone. https://t.co/4v1vK1Gknt
